During these times, what are you doing to stay visible?
Obviously, many industries are being impacted, some more heavily than others by COVID-19.
Some companies and sellers have seen huge and greater demands in their products or services, and some, like the hospitality industry have been hit hard by social isolation.
One thing every industry has in common though, is the ability to stay visible.
I’ve been asked numerous times on my recent LinkedIn live broadcasts the best way to make sales in this climate.
And my answer in virtually every situation is to continue providing value. That is, continue or start sharing your content with your audience to the best of your abilities so that you are improving your chances of being seen by people who can buy, and building trust with everyone else. That way, even if they can’t buy from you today, perhaps they will down the road once things settle down.
That content can be in the format of:
- Blogs
- Videos
- Podcasts
- Images
- Live videos
- Whitepapers
- Any other avenue where you can deliver value.
The trick here is to continue building trust even if you’re struggling to build your pipeline. You want to place yourself in front of people virtually, and “show up” even during these times.
Think about it, with all of the “extra” time that people have right now, many people are consuming content at an even greater rate than before.
It’s important for you to continue showing up, staying visible and providing value to your potential customers.
