Performance Starts with Taking Care of Yourself | Sales Strategies

I want to have a quick conversation with you about something that often doesn’t get discussed when we’re talking to sellers, top performers, and sales leaders. It’s a mandatory discussion that we have to have on a regular basis.

The best sellers I know have strong minds, strong bodies, and feel good about themselves mentally and physically. They always have energy and enthusiasm. You can’t have these attributes if you’re not sleeping well, eating poorly, or working all hours of the day.

I’m not saying that you have to run marathons or that you have to be in peak physical performance conditions to be a good seller, but I am saying that you need to take care of yourself.

Schedule some down time, take a nap, or go for a walk. Make sure you have a healthy, balanced diet. Make sure that you’re happy and that your outlook on life is positive because if you’re depressed, drained, or tired, you’re not going to hit a level of peak performance in your business.
