Holiday Cheer!

No matter what your personal beliefs, I’d like to wish you the joys of this great holiday season!  Take time this week to unplug from work and reconnect with friends and family. There are too few moments when we gather with friends and family to sing a song, enjoy a meal, remember the past, and look forward to the future. Chris and I are spending time this week in Edmonton with our families and although the travel is arduous at holiday season, the delays, deicing, delayed baggage, are all more than worth it to open presents with our nieces, go sledding with our siblings, and eat some of Chris’s Mom’s roast beef!

Health, peace, and prosperity to you all from me and the Engage and my family. Relax and enjoy the holidays. You deserve it. My plan this year is to remember that New Year’s Resolutions are far less important than today’s appreciation. (Especially when it comes to my Mom’s tortiere and shortbread). Accept the intent of all the gifts you receive even when some are imperfect; rejoice in all repeated family stories, though old and worn; and make a pledge to help others, even when they are not expecting it.
