Are you Balanced?

I hope everyone had an amazing Valentine’s Day and was able to spend time with the ones you love. After loving my full day of 1:1 coaching our amazing Platinum clients, Chris and I took Conrad for a long walk to watch the cruise chips go by and then enjoyed a delicious dinner at our favorite Sushi restaurant on the beach. We don’t normally go out during the week, it felt a bit like playing hookie!   

I’ll be honest – we did talk a little shop over dinner. It’s nice to have a business partner to bounce ideas off of. Between Chris and my long time mentor Alan Weiss, I can always get a fresh perspective of where our business is and where we want to go.

That got me thinking that many of my fellow sales managers, executives and business owners don’t have someone there to provide a second opinion or a fresh perspective. That’s why I’ve decided to launch a series of webinars over the next few months specifically focused on helping those running sales teams and/or businesses. As many of you know, I never feel guilty about talking about work over dinner or during personal time. In fact, in our lives the distinction between work and personal time is very, very blurry. That doesn’t mean that you need to sacrifice your fun to be successful – you just have to be focussed.
